2.8i Special D reg 1986

  

A standard 2.8i Special (with its LSD) in Nimbus Grey over Silver. Still has its original dealer stickers and number plates! As It does need some bodywork around the lower rear panels and front valance, but its a straight 2.8i.

  • MKV 2ltr Cortina estate in a sort of beige colour. Really good condition. £1200. 

 

  • H reg Ford Orion bright red with grleaming paint and a superb interior. 1.6i Ghia. Does need a replacement N/S/R arch, but looks a great little motor. £985.

Also I believe he might sell his cream 3ltr MKI Granada coupe for the right price (new exhaust & rebuilt engine), though you'd need to speak to him about.

Items needed to sort our projects, show cars as well as the daily hacks and other Capri related stuff...  

Parts:

Carla check interior for early 2.8i Capri (seats and cards). Must be as mint as possible. Cash waiting for the right trim & collection possible within reason. Please email this site at pete@eastgrinsteadcapriclub.co.uk and the email will be passed on the same day.

   

Andy with the cabriolet Laser needs a 2.0 Pinto engine asap. It doesn't have to be a 205 block, though has to be in good nick and reasonable price. Please email this site at pete@eastgrinsteadcapriclub.co.uk and the email will be passed on the same day.

Misc:

Still trying to complete the set! Original Capri Club International magazines for the following months:

1984: Jan/ Feb, Mar/ Apr, May/ Jun, Jul/ Aug, Sept/ Oct (bi monthly mag back in the day. Also Nove and Dec single month issues.

1985: July, August, September, October & November

1990: April and May

Also any other CCI stuff such as the introductory isses and calanders.

Just a note, I did have one email offering some of the mags at £5 each, sorry, too rich for me, their value is more of curiosity than intrinsic value - the whole set isn't worth a lot really. I know if I wait long enough they will appear/ be offered at the right price.

Retroford International are always on the lookout for 70's & 80's Fords and parts.

Unfinished/ abandoned projects, MOT failures, old dogs to decent stuff - they'll have them.

Important note:

As they have remodelled their business since they expanded and moved to Eastbourne earlier this year, they also have more modern Ford parts for later, Escorts, Ultimas, Fiestas and now can supply Mondeo, Puma and Focus parts. Though you'd need to phone them really. They even had an unused MKII Focus ST shell in stock at one point! 

Garage/ main dealer clear outs to to a garden shed, they will take the lot and won't cherry pick and leave you with the more unpopular bits.
